Event Details
Join EPIC and the staff for a kayaking adventure on the Guadalupe. We'll be launching from Bergheim Campground and enjoying a leisurely float about 4 miles down river. Expect to spend three to four hours on the water and don't forget your sunscreen!
Details:
- Arrive at the campgrounds at 12pm to get fitted for kayaks/paddles/lifejackets
- The drive from Austin is just over an hour (directions here)
Optional Camping:
For the real outdoor buffs, we've arranged a campground where you can pack it in for the night. This is not officially part of the EPIC trip, so campers are on their own - but if you're interested, call Will Stewart at Bergheim Campgrounds and tell him you plan to stay the night (830-336-2235). The grounds have restrooms and showers and Will can provide 2-4 person tents for $17. Tell him you're with HCC and he'll waive the campground fee.
